Jon established the firm in 2023 and currently serves as its Manager. Jon has practiced Public Law, representing water districts and other local government entities, since 2007. He spent over 9 years as a Member in another local law firm, serving as its Managing Member from 2019 until his departure in 2023. Prior to beginning his career in Public Law, Jon briefly practiced construction litigation with a boutique Houston firm.

Currently, Jon serves as general counsel, bond counsel and special counsel to various types of water districts/authorities including municipal utility districts and special utility districts. Jon’s responsibilities also relate to the creation, financing, development and operation of those entities. In addition, Jon has actively monitored the Texas Legislature for every regular and special legislative session since 2009.

Jon graduated Cum Laude from University of Houston (B.S. 1999) and Magna Cum Laude from South Texas College of Law (J.D. 2006), where he also served as an Articles Editor for the South Texas Law Review.
